BY TRAIN is the fastest route to the hostel. From London Bridge and Waterloo direct trains travel to New Cross Gate every 10minutes and New Cross. Approx journey time 6-8 minutes. When you exit New Cross Gate turn left, the hostel is a 2 minute walk up New Cross Road.
BY TUBE Take the Jubilee Line from Green Park (Heathrow Connection), Waterloo or London Bridge to Canada Water. At Canada Water, change to the East London Line (Southbound) to either New Cross or New Cross Gate. When you exit New Cross, turn right along New Cross Road. From New Cross Gate you need to exit the tube station and turn left. Approx. journey time 20-30mins.

From London Bridge take the 21 bus to New Cross or New Cross Gate Tube Station. Approx. journey time 28mins. What?

Welcome to Dover Castles - New Cross Inn Hostel!
The Dover Castle New Cross Inn is a new hostel situated in South East London, zone 2. The hostel is 2 minutes walk from New Cross Gate and New Cross underground and overland train stations. A train to or from London Bridge Train Station takes only 6 minutes and you can comfortably use your travelcard without need to pay any extra fee. We are very convenient if your'e coming to London to attend a concert or event at the O2 Millenium Dome. The Hostel is only a 15min bus ride to the 02 Arena.
The Hostel has a variety of twin rooms and small dormitories, some of which have en-suite bathrooms. All rooms have been refurbished and have basins and most have fridges for the guests. The hostel has a guest common room with digital TV, movies, board games and a mini library. We have 2 guest kitchens and and every floor has several bathrooms boasting both showers and baths. Throughout the hostel is free WiFi internet access and we have an internet terminal by reception. We also offer a laundry facility and lockers for guests, and free ear plugs are available for light sleepers. Reception is open 24 hrs and our friendly staff will be happy to help you with directions and advice. All this and still our prices are super low and include a complimentary continental breakfast, as well as free pancakes on Sundays!
The Bar next to the hostel also offers discounts for our guests and often has bands / DJs. The bar has a pool table and shows all the major sports events live.
If you intend to stay in London longer term then we can help you move into a house or a flat. The Dover Castle New Cross Inn is affiliated with the Dover Castle Flat/Houseshare agency. We offer double rooms in shared houses from £100 per week including bills and a bed in a twin room from £75 per week. The houses and flats are furnished and have digital TV and WIFI internet included. We offer flexible contracts, free viewings and only require a 2 weeks rent security bond. All house and flats are in zones 1 and 2. All in all perfect for any hostel guest that decides to make London his / her home for 6 weeks or more.
