It costs around $15.00 to catch a taxi from the airport, otherwise there is the airport shuttle bus @ $12.00 per person. Gilligan's resort is located in the Cairns city centre. Gilligan's is Cairns' newest and most up-market budget accommodation, offering both tradtional backpacker facilities (with added comforts) as well as private hotel style rooms.
